Stretch the Body, Stretch the Mind

A combination of stretching, chi kung and meditation to create flexibility and balance in body and mind.

T’ai Chi
A very short t’ai chi choreography, combined with chi kung warm-up exercises. Understand how the principles of grounding, body structure and pattern of movement create T’ai Chi.

Chi Kung with Guided Meditation
Loosen up the body with breathing and upper body stretching. Use this relaxed physical state to enable the mind to relax into peacefulness, following suggestions for visualization and breathing.

Inner Smile Meditation
A smile can change your internal chemistry and begin a healing process. The "Inner Smile" meditation takes the power of a smile and uses it to relax and revitalize your internal systems and their emotional components. The 6 Healing Sounds assist in the process of opening and clearing.

Microcosmic Orbit
Deliberately circulate chi through major energy channels in the body – vertically around the torso. These channels function as reservoirs and regulate flow and distribution of chi in your system.

T’ai Chi in Daily Life
Experience the effect of t’ai chi principles in daily activities and relationships. Practicing your form for a few minutes each day is one thing, but how do you stay grounded, centered and responsive in the chaos of daily life? This workshop explores t’ai chi principles in action.

Touch & Sound – individual appointment only
Balance and align your own self through gentle touch and sound.

Be as still as a mountain,
Move like a great river.

"My research has shown me that the body can and must be healed through the mind, and the mind can and must be healed through the body."
Candace Pert, PhD
