At the reception, Gwen watches the happy newlyweds, and exits. Outside, she meets up with Richard's younger brother
Jack, who has just arrived in town from London. Gwen confesses she's left the reception, and Jack convinces her
to return with him as her escort.
At the bar, Jenny and Peter discuss Heather. Peter learns that Richard is giving Heather a dot-com to run as a
wedding present-- a dot-com which Peter is in the midst of buying. Peter decides he'll stop the business from being
bought.
Jack and Gwen discuss Heather, and Jack suggests Gwen stay out of her ex's life. Richard joins them, greeting his
brother.
Chandler watches as Richard and Heather share their first dance. Chandler then steps in to dance with Heather,
taking the place of Heather's absent father. Heather tells Chandler they will keep quiet about the truth, and she
will pass off the child as Richard's. Peter cuts in, dances with Heather, and insists he knows she's after the
company. Meanwhile, Samantha and Chandler dance together.
Gwen, her daughters, and Jack return to the house, where Jack mentions David, his protégé who will
be working for Laurie and Jenny. Left alone, Jack and Gwen reminisce for a moment before Jack exits; clearly, both
were affected by their evening together.
Richard and Heather kiss a bit at the main house, and Heather rushes off to prepare for their evening together.
Peter's been watching them and now confronts his father. Peter tells his father it's insane to give Heather the
company, but Richard declares that Peter will sign the acquisition papers while he's away, or else!
In the bedroom, Heather watches Chandler out the window, and Chandler watches back. Heather's joined by Richard,
and the two begin to make love. Chandler knows what's going on when he sees the bedroom lights turn off.

Peter wakes a sleeping Chandler. They see Richard and
Heather having breakfast. Chandler's angry with Peter for being so against Heather. He's then shocked to learn
that Heather and Richard will be honeymooning in Hawaii.
Heather is similarly stunned when Richard informs her they'll be going to Maui--the same place she and Chandler
met and had their affair.
On the beach, Laurie meets David, an Australian hunk. He mentions he'll soon be working at Pulse, and not knowing
he's speaking to one of his bosses, disses Laurie and Jenny, believing they've had their job handed to them by
their father. Laurie leaves, but not before telling David who she is.
Scott gives Samantha some papers, which she then delivers to Richard's office--and finds Peter there. Peter suggests
that Samantha can get a vice president job, and she accuses him of sexual harassment. Chandler arrives, having
been informed of an emergency board meeting.
Peter has called the family together to discuss plans to stop the acquisition of the dot-com. Chandler is adamant
that they must go along with their father's wishes, and without his vote, Peter must go along with this.
Richard and Heather have arrived at their Hawaii hotel room. Heather recalls being on the Hawaiian beach with Chandler--running,
playing, making love. She snaps at a hotel worker, then apologizes when she sees Richard standing nearby. Richard
and Heather begin to make love.
Jenny presents SR-71, the band, at Pulse. She then greets her uncle Jack, who introduces her to David. David notes
he's already met Laurie, and the two didn't get off to a good start. Sparks fly between David and Jenny after they're
left alone.
Peter joins Chandler, who is boxing. They debate Heather. Chandler's anger grows and he knocks his brother down,
giving him a bloody lip. |
