Chandler makes one last flight before leaving the Navy. He reveals he's going home, which is in Beverly Hills.
In Beverly Hills, Gwen Williams--mother to Chandler, Peter, Jenny, and Laurie--is speaking with her daughters Jenny
and Laurie. She sends them off to her ex-husband Richard's engagement party. Moments later, Chandler arrives, and
greets his mother. They discuss his father's upcoming wedding to a much younger woman.
Chandler arrives at the family home, and Richard's engagement party is already going on. His siblings Jenny, Peter,
and Laurie greet him; we learn that Jenny, an alcoholic, has been sober for 5 months.
Chandler meets with his father, Richard. Richard introduces him to his fiancée--who happens to be Heather!
Chandler and Heather both look stunned. Heather tells Richard she's not feeling well, and Richard gets Chandler
to take Heather home.
Chandler drops Heather off at her home. He's angry with her, but she insists she loves his father. Chandler insists
he's going to tell Richard the truth, despite Heather's arguments.

Samantha Sanchez leaves the mansion and enters Chandler's
room, where he's sleeping, but wakes when she arrives. Chandler and Samantha are friends from childhood, and she's
gone from being the daughter of the maid, to being the manager of Richard's life (she attended Brown University).
She informs him that Richard wishes to see him at 9 AM.
Richard is joined by Chandler, and the two discuss Heather. Richard informs Chandler that he loves Heather, but
he hasn't slept with her yet, they decided to wait until they marry. Chandler announces that he has decided to
leave the Navy and come to work at the family business, which makes Richard light up. Peter joins them, and Richard
leaves. Peter suggests that Heather's after the family money, which angers Chandler.
Richard speaks with his ex-wife Gwen before the board meeting. They recall starting the company that became the
multinational Williams Global Enterprises. They're joined by their children, and Samantha. Peter suggests they
sell the aviation part of the company, but Richard declines this idea, tells everyonne that it's where Chandler
will start out and welcomes Chandler to the company.
Peter brings Chandler to work in the aviation division. Chandler meets Scott, who he will be working with.
At Gwen's club, Pulse, Gwen tells Laurie she's proud of Laurie's work in making the club a success. Laurie points
out how little Jenny's working compared to her, because Jenny's wrapped up with her new boyfriend, Billy. Jenny
and Billy, meanwhile, end up deciding to go to Billy's boat to have sex.
Samantha watches Chandler swimming in the pool from afar. Chandler comes in to the room with Samantha and flirts
with her, but she rebuffs his advances. He can tell she's still in love with Chandler, but he insists that nothing
will ever happen between Chandler and Samantha... Peter thinks Chandler will drop out soon.
Jenny's in bed with Peter. She needs to get back to the club. They agree he'll attend the wedding rehearsal dinner
the next night.
Jenny leaves, and Laurie, who's been sitting in her car in the dock parking lot, gets out. She goes to Billy, and
tells him to stay away from her sister. She also hints that she knows a secret about Billy. |
