Raising the Bar follows the lives of those in the district attorney's office and the public defenders, as well as those who choose the verdict like Jane Kaczmarek (Malcolm in the Middle) who plays Judge Trudy Kessler. In this series we'll be shown what their relationships are like in and out of the court room.
Really? I don't think I'm reading about anything ground breaking here. Sounds like your average courtroom drama to me, but some of the reviews say otherwise, claiming the heart warming moments are worth a watch. One reviewer says "the episode is constructed in such a way that you cannot wait to see what happens next."
On the other hand there are some who claim the series is going to be utterly predictable. Let's face it, the genre has been done...a lot. Is it actually possible for this new series to take a step above the pack? Does anyone even care?
I guess it's up to us now.
