Leverage: The Miracle Job

Timothy HuttonOn tonight's "Leverage", the church of Nathan's (Hutton) former priest (and childhood best buddy) is going to be taken down by a profiteering real estate developer and it's going to take a miracle to save it.

Definitely check out tonight's episode.  It's still packed with twists and turns and the bit of comedy which is a staple of the new series, but I also appreciate the sentiment.  Sure I look forward to the week's gig, but most of all, I'm hooked on the backstory.  Ready to learn more about why Nathan Ford is who he is.

This week we get a tiny glimpse into his relationship with his ex-wife and a long look at where his faith has gone since the death of his son.

All seriousness aside, Parker (Beth Riesgraf) cracks me up in this one.  The focus inside the church is a statue of St. Nicholas which she continues to refer to as Santa Claus.  I guess Nate's not the only one with a personal stake since she's clearly very protective of St. Nick.

So, check out tonight's "Leverage" at 10pm eastern on TNT.  If you're not convinced yet, well there's not much else on so what do you have to lose?
