"The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice" premieres tonight at 8pm eastern on TNT and I gotta say, it's a blast! Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: The Next Generation) returns to direct after having done installment two, which was a big hit. Sure, it's a little silly, how could it not be with cast members like Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin. But the silly isn't bad, it's just fun. Good, family fun.
I genuinely had a good time watching this mini-movie which follows Flynn (Noah Wyle), a librarian sent on quests to find precious artifacts to store in the library. It made me wish I had seen the other 2 installments of the series and in case you haven't, they're airing them starting at 4pm eastern.
"Curse of the Judas Chalice" finds Flynn worn out from the job (having lost yet another girlfriend) and needing a vacation. He heads to New Orleans thinking he'll get some r&r, but naturally ends up smack dab in the middle of another treasure hunt.
Oh, and this one has vampires too.
Definitely leave some space in your evening for this one. It's light, fun, a little fantastical and just a good way to end your weekend.

Frakes did a good job. This entry was in my opinion better then the second.
It is a fun adventure series. A likable take off on Indiana Jones.
Here is my take on all three movies with lots of pics and a little wit if you are interested:
