'Leverage' Review - "The Homecoming Job" Airs Tonight

Tonight on 'Leverage', the crew reunites to help out a Reservist who's been shot in Iraq by private military contractors and needs rehabilitation, but can't afford it.  Under the guise of "Leverage Consulting & Associates", a company Nathan (Timothy Hutton) created with his money earned from episode one, they uncover the contractor's dirty secrets worth killing for.

So, you might ask, is the pilot awkwardness gone?  Yes, yes it is.  This second episode is smooth, exciting and even funny.  I found myself giggling out loud a number of times.  However, it's not all laughs, how can it be with subject matter like the war.  Well I suppose the timing couldn't be better.

The latest installment touches on injured vets, seedy politicians and how, in times like these, we hope for modern day Robin Hoods even if they are a gang of thieves.

Oh, and wait 'til you see their new high tech office.

The characters are developing and the story line is strong. If you didn't check it out on the premiere, I highly suggest you let yourself get sucked into this fun, action packed and even a little touching series.  I genuinely look forward to previewing the rest of the season.

Will you watch?

Check out tonight's episode of "Leverage", "The Homecoming Job", at 10pm  eastern on TNT.

Will be watching. Loved the first one.

I can't believe we missed the Tuesday episode. Well, yes I can, we are somewhat TiVo impaired. The good news for us, and others like us is that it will repeat on Saturday at 1 PM Eastern time.
