What's Brewin' On TV - Locklear back to Melrose?, Designer DUI and More!

  • Rumor has it Heather Locklear has been approached to reprise her role on the new 'Melrose Place'.  She would be the first one they've tried to get back since the idea came to life, but surely not the last.  The project is moving quickly with auditions already under way and casting announcements set for January. source
  • 'Trading Spaces' decorator Doug Wilson, apparently the "resident bad boy" of the show, has lived up to his reputation by spending a night in jail for a DUI on Tuesday morning.  Well, not just a DUI, also driving on a suspended license, failing to yield the right-of-way to an emergency vehicle and unlawful transportation of alcohol.  Guess he wanted to end the year with a bang!  source
  • The biggest news of the day is probably Viacom pulling 18 channel off the air from Time Warner's cable outlets.  Apparenlty the rise is over some recent carriage fee raises.  So, if you're a TWC customer, plan to miss out on Comedy Central, VH1, Spike, Nickelodeon, Logo, CMT, MTV and more starting tonight.  source
