What's Brewin' in TV News: Obama Schedules Multiple Interviews and More

  • The CW has made a few changes in it's lineup, starting with an earlier return of "Reaper" (March 3) which will also be changing it's timeslot to 8pm, followed by "90210" at 9.  Apparently the move was made so that "90210" didn't have to compete with "American Idol" on Fox.  Also, "Privileged" will be cutting out sooner (Feb. 24th)  to make way for the "Reaper" bump.  source
  • President Obama has decided to do interviews with all the anchors of the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and Fox News) pretty much back to back from the Oval Office on Tuesday.  The interviews will air over the course of the afternoon and into the evening.  No word yet on how long each will be.  source
  • CBS picked up atleast 3 pilots recently.  A drama called "A Marriage" produced by Herskovitz and Zwick ("My So Called Life"), "House Rules" which follows the freshman class of congressmen/women as they begin their careers in Washington and "The Fish Tank" which will be a 30 minute comedy about a teen who "finds himself living the dream when his parents give him the house to himself five days a week."
