What's Brewin' in TV - NBC's Recent Cancellations Lead to More 'Medium', 'The Hills' will do season 5 and more!

  • NBC has had to do some quick replacing after giving the axe to "My Own Worst Enemy" and "Lipstick Jungle" last week.  First order of business?  Order more episodes of the hit drama "Medium"!    NBC execs have asked for 6 additional episodes to add on top of the 13-episode season.  Looks like we can expect "Medium" to be back sometime in the next few weeks!  source
  • CBS has officially staked their claim on "Gary, Unmarried" and "Worst Week", ordering new episodes from each of the comedies.  "Gary" adding 7 after exceeding ratings expectations and "Week" adding 3 even though the ratings could be better.  source
  • It looks like a big day for tall orders and renewals.  Next up, MTV's "The Hills" has officially been asked back for season 5.  Honestly, I had no idea it had been around that long in the first place.  I have to admit, the curiosity is overwhelming and I might have to watch it sometime....but I'm terrified. source
