What's Brewin in TV - 'L Word' makes a killing, Bid on a visit to the next 'Survivor' and more!

  •  Spoiler alert!  Big news for "L Word" fans. Showtime just announced that for the 6th and final season, they'll be offing one of the stars, and right away.   Jenny Schecter (Mia Kirshner) will be found floating in a pool, but making visits from the grave throughout the season.  So, how do you think she gets the axe?  source
  • Hey "Survivor" fans!  Want a chance to visit the location of season 19?  Now's your chance.  After the finale of Gabon airs, everyone will have a chance to bid on a visit to the next set of the show AND get to see a reward or immunity challenge, tribal council, participate in challenge rehearsal, eat with the crew and hang out with Jeff Probst! Click here to read Jeff's post!  source
  • TBS just greenlit a new half-hour pilot about vaudeville and hosted by...Harland Williams!  (One of my favorite comedians).  The show, tentatively named "The TBS Comedy Roadshow", will travel around the country to historical regional and vaudeville theaters and have local talent (comedians, novelty acts, musical acts, short films and animated shorts) perform.  It is described as "a celebration of what's funny in America." source
  • Oprah was named the most powerful woman in entertainment by The Hollywood Reporter on its annual "Power 100 List".  I know, big shock.
