Twitter Considers Reality TV

The uber-popular micro-blogging site Twitter.com is considering a move into television with a reality show.

Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment Partners on Monday announced they have partnered with the social-networking and micro-blogging service to develop the first TV series that incorporates Twitter into the action of the show.

Created by novelist Amy Ephron, sister of Nora and Delia Ephron, the show will feature ordinary people competing while on the trail of celebrities.  No word yet on whether they'll be trailing real ones or one of the many fake celebs that over run the twitterverse.

Big mistake. I wonder if the Twitter guys are directly involved in this and how it works, legally. It's a public site, can someone build off of it for another medium without their permission?
