Tonight on "Leverage: The Two-Horse Job"

On tonight's "Leverage", a high-rolling Wall Street broker (Rick Hoffman) burns down his own stable to kill off his under-performing racehorses.  The Leverage team goes to Kentucky to help the heartbroken horse trainer who has lost everything and who also happens to be the father of Eliot's (Christian Kane) high school sweetheart.

It was my pleasure to review another episode of "Leverage" which is quickly becoming one of my favorite fun shows on TV and tonight's "The Two-Horse Job" didn't disappoint.

This episode's storyline is good (see above), but my favorite parts are the smooth introductions into our character's pasts which are clearly becoming a very big part of this show.  Tonight you'll get to meet Jim Sterling (Mark Sheppard), the guy who took over Nathan's (Hutton) job at the insurance company.  He's clearly going to be our storyline bad guy who pops in now and then to make the teams job harder and the question will be, can anyone actually top or take over Nathan's place?

Probably not, but it's going to be fun watching him try.

Every good drama needs a strong back story to keep us coming back and "Leverage" is starting to build one.  I suggest you give it a watch so you're not left behind.  If that's not enough for you, then give it a try for the fun twists and turns the show throws with every episode.  It only makes me wonder how long the writer's can keep it up.

"Leverage: The Two-Horse Job" airs tonight at 10pm eastern on TNT

I liked the first two episodes a lot, so I'll be tuning in. Timothy Hutton is doing a great job as the damaged center of the show. The show is kind of an updated version of Heist, a BBC show from a few years back, but I think Leverage is a lot more fun. How did you like their new offices? Geek wonderland!

By the way, have you noticed that Parker looks and acts just like (a slightly crazier version of) you? Love her!
