'The Middleman' Canceled

ABC Family's superhero show "The Middleman" won't get a season two.  Instead, the series finale will be made into a graphic novel. The show has only aired 12 of 13 episodes, the last of which will be made into the novel.

The series was already based on Javier Grillo-Marzuach's ("Lost") series of comics so I guess ending it all with a novel only makes sense.  "The Middleman - The Doomday Armageddon Apocalypse" will hit shelves this July in time for ComicCon International.

The first season of the show will be released on DVD in July as well.
