"The Closer" returns to TNT with 5 new episodes starting with the first on January 26th at 9pm eastern.If you remember from back in September, Fritz (Jon Tenney) gave Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick) the ultimatum to choose a wedding date or call it off. This and a number of other cliffhangers are settled in this new episode and of course an excellent case that deals with a suicide that was more likely a murder.
Of course, I can't tell you what happens, I'm just not a spoiler. But I can tell you it's worth it and as usual, the show is top notch. You'll just have to watch. And heads up for some fun twists and turns, particulary in the second episode!

I taped these most of these episodes but missed one that I think was a continutation .... Brenda and one of her guys who shot someone were put on leave of absent ... Brenda was hired to go under and work with some guys - a young man was killed, etc .... I need to know if these episodes are running again so I can tune in to the continuation of that episode... I've looked ahead in the lineup and so far there are no The Closer repeats running on TNT this month, just new episodes. I'll see if I can find out any more info on this.
