Shawn Ryan Returns to FX with 'Terriers'

"The Shield" creator Shawn Ryan is returning to FX with a new pilot called "Terriers."

The new show will be an hour-long private-eye comedy centering on two PI partners with "maturity issues", solving crimes while avoiding danger and responsibility.

Writer Ted Griffin ("Oceans Eleven"), who wrote an episode of "The Shield" as well, came up with the idea and will be executive producing along with Ryan.

"Terriers" is the first pilot developed at Ryan's MiddKid Prods. under the writer-producer's rich overall deal with 20th Century Fox TV. Marney Hochman-Nash serves as MiddKid's president of development.

Anything with Shawn Ryan involved is worth watching. I'll be looking forward to this one. I wonder who will star.
