'Scrubs' Just Might Return

The verdict isn't in on "Scrubs" yet.  ABC is considering bringing the long time comedy back for a 9th season and attempting to get as many original cast members as possible.

The network and creator, Bill Lawrence, are deep in talks over budgets for next season and the actor's contracts since none of them were signed passed this year's season 8.

There's also the possibility of bringing on new characters and having original cast members take on recurring roles since series regulars Zach Braff, Donald Faison, John C. McGinley and Neil Flynn said they would not be returning after this season and some of them are already involved in new pilots.

Also keep in mind this would mean double duty for Lawrence if his new show "Cougar Town" with Courtney Cox takes off.
