NBC Revives 'I'm a Celebrity'

The hit British series "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here" is looking to give it another go stateside.  ABC gave it a try 6 years ago but was short lived and it seems NBC thinks they can do it better.

Details are still very hush-hush, as I'm sure they'll have to change a few things around to make it stick this time.  The original UK version has celebs living in a "Survivor" like setting while competing for rewards of food and basic comforts.  And of course, they are evicted one by one.

The "Survivor" feel was ABC's big problem back in 2003.  The similarities were too much in a time when "Survivor" was king and CBS even filed a (unsuccessful) lawsuit for copyright infringement.

The newish reality show, expected to get at least a 12 episode order, will launch sometime this summer.
