NBC Announces Some Early Renewals

NBC has announced some renewals before tomorrow's infront when the network will fill advertisers in on next season's pickups.  So far the two lucky shows are freshman series "Southland" and the paranormal crime drama "Medium."

This is particularly good news for "Medium" which was considered on the bubble.  Most speculated if it was picked up, it wouldn't be for a full season.  However, even though it hasn't been announced yet, the show is expected to receive a 13-18 episode order.

As for midseason drama "Southland," they nabbed a 13 episode order.

Still waiting for the news are "My Name is Earl," "Law & Order," and fan favorite "Chuck".
