"Archer" will mark the first time in a decade that the network has had an animated series. The show, which has recieved a 6 episode order, will be set in an international spy agency called ISIS where the "highly trained employees constantly confuse, undermine, betray and royally screw one another."
The voices will be played by: Jon Benjamin ("Family Guy") as suave master spy Sterling Archer, code name Duchess; Jessica Walter ("Arrested Development") as Malory, his domineering mother and boss; Aisha Tyler ("Friends") as his ex-girlfriend, Agent Lana Kane; Chris Parnell ("Saturday Night Live") as Cyril Figgis, an ISIS comptroller and Lana's new love interest; and Judy Greer ("Miss Guided") as Malory's lovesick secretary, Cheryl. "The League" comes from Jeff Schaffer, executive producer of "Curb Your Enthusiasm." The show will center on a fantasy football league and make light of the issues in suburbia, marriage, friendship and parenting. Like "Curb," there will be a lot of improv involved.
The cast will include Mark Duplass ("Humday") as Pete, Steve Rannazzisi ("Paul Blart: Mall Cop"), Nick Kroll ("I Love You, Man"), Paul Scheer ("Human Giant"), Katie Aselton ("The Puffy Chair"), Jon Lajoie and Alina Foley, daughter of actor Dave Foley.
