TV.com reported today that Eddie Izzard hasn't had enough of his canceled show 'The Riches' and wants to make a movie. Izzard said, "We've had the meeting and the writers are going to go off and slam out a story." He also says they're going to raise the dough for the project by asking fans to donate over the internet and they'll film it "guerilla-style."
The series was canceled last spring after suffering from a drop in ratings after the writer's strike, despite getting good reviews across the board. I hope they do make the movie, but fast before anyone forgets who 'The Riches' were.
