'Dollhouse', 'Scrubs' & 'Castle' Renewed - More Picked Up

Fox has officially renewed Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse" for a second season and picked up the new comedy series "Brothers" for a 13-episode order.

"Brothers" follows the relationship between a retired NFL player (Michael Strahan) and his wheelchair bound brother (Darryl "Chill" Mitchell).  The new series joins Fox's other pickups "Human Target," "Past Life," "Glee," and "Cleveland."

ABC has also made a couple of renewals with freshman series "Castle" and after much deliberation, old favorite "Scrubs" for season 9!  The network has also picked up the new series "Happy Town" and "Cougar Town."

"Happy Town" is a murder mystery set in a small town. The cast includes Geoff Stults ("October Road"), Dean Winters ("Rescue Me"), Amy Acker ("Dollhouse"), Sam Neill ("Crusoe"), John Patrick Amedori ("Gossip Girl"), and Robert Wisodm ("Supernatural").

"Cougar Town" stars Courtney Cox as a newly single mom with a teenage son.
