Comcast Going Online

Comcast is getting ready to test out a service called Online on Demand where subscribers will be able to watch their favorite shows online without any extra cost.  They're hoping this will be a way to keep subscribers as more and more shows are viewable on sites like Hulu.com.

So far the networks joining the new project are: CBS, HBO, Cinemax, TBS, TNT, Starz, AMC, A&E, BBCA, DIY, E!, Fine Living Network, Food Network, HGTV, Hallmark, History, IFC, MGM Impact, Sundance, WE, Style Network, G4 and Fearnet.

So far, CBS is the first broadcast network to join the group.
