Brooke Shields Says We've Been Hoodwinked - 'Jungle' Not Canceled?

Last week we got news that NBC pulled the plug on Christian Slater's "My Own Worst Enemy" and also "Lipstick Jungle".  Now Brooke Shield has stepped up to say it's not true.

"They thought that because 'My Own Worst Enemy' has been shut down that the same thing had happened to us, and it's not true," Shields said in New York. "They're not breaking down the sets. We're still working. We still have more to do, so it's erroneously presented that we've been cancelled, thank God."

Co-star Kim Raver backed Brooke up saying the show hasn't been canceled.  Apparently Variety claimed they had some sources saying the show was done but no one from NBC actually gave the word.

Personally, I just hope it's true. I have some how become ridiculously addicted to the story line in this show and would have to see it gone.
