The first season was very well recieved, earning a Peabody Award and an Emmy for Bryan Cranston, and the second has garnered even more critical acclaim and commercial success. The second season opener drew in 1.7 million viewers, up 21% from last season.
If you haven't heard already, the show stars Cranston as a highschool chemistry teacher turned meth maker after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
"Breaking" joins fellow AMC drama "Mad Men," which also got a third season.
