Sources report that "Private Practice" is heading to the Thursday at 10pm slot, right behind "Grey's Anatomy". Also, "Life on Mars" is heading to Wednesdays at 10 to follow LOST when it finally begins airing.
It's all a clever way of pairing up like-minded series, "Practice" and "Grey's" having an obvious relation and it's clear that "Lost" and "Mars" will fit nicely together with their sci-fi themes.
For now the moves are temporary, but considering how well the shows seem to pair up, I'd say it's a safe to bet to call this a permanent fix. Atleast for this season.
