Blue Bloods

If you're home on Friday nights, you already know there isn't much to choose from on TV. I suggest trying Blue Bloods on CBS. It stars Tom Selleck (who still has "it") as Police Commissioner of NYC and the patriarch of a family of cops, including Donnie Wahlberg. The crime fighting is fine, the family aspect of the show is really good. Similar in character depth to The Good Wife. Episode 3 is on tonight and if you love it, you can catch up on the first two on cbs.com.
