Reality Blurred snagged the scoop on some "Amazing Race 16" news yesterday when Big Brother 11 contestant Jeff Schroeder and winner Jordan Lloyd were spotted in LAX on the first leg of the race. The show just started production and, according to people who saw the contestants in the airport on Saturday, they're headed to Santiago, Chile (a team reportedly used someone's laptop to do research).
So aside from the BB couple, the other teams spotted were: a couple of cowboys in their 20s, some big fellas named Mike and Louie, an older and younger woman speculated to be grandma and granddaughter, a middle-aged couple, frat guys, etc. Basically the usual 'Amazing Race' hodge-podge of contestants.
Here's the Twittering that took place during the LAX spotting.
Normally I'm really annoyed when I see a regurgitated reality couple on another reality show, however this time I have to say I'm kind of excited. No one can deny the entertainment value of Jeff and Jordan's inability to spell...or tell time. Just picture them trying to race in a foreign country cracks me up. I hope they last more than one leg.

I love that they are Racing! I've missed a few seasons, but will definitely tune in while they are on. I'll love it if they do well! Go Team BB!
