James Franco will guest star on the award-winning ABC soap-opera General Hospital, the alphabet network announced today. His story arc will begin November 20th. source

NBC's midseason drama "Day One" has been knocked down to a two-hour pilot plus two episodes, making it a 4 hour mini-series. The show will chronicle life on earth after a global catastrophe. The decision was made after going over the budget. source

Yesterday we learned Jon Gosselin was removed from "Jon & Kate Plus 8", reducing the title to just "Kate Plus 8." Today we find out that the show's filming has been shutdown after a cease-and-desist order from Mr. Gosselin. The production will remain suspended until further notice. source

FOX picked up a U.K game show called "The Cube" where contestants complete simple physical challenges in a small amount of time. It sounds very similar to NBC's latest game show pickup, "Perfect 10." source
