The new comedy starring Heder as an unemployed IT guy who returns home to move in with his parents has snagged a 10 episode order from the network. Ferrell, McKay and Chris Henchy are set to write and produce, with some potential cameos from Ferrell.
If all goes well, Comedy Central is prepared to order up 90 more episodes.
"It's a very similar business model to 'House of Payne,' " Debmar co-president Mort Marcus said. "Perry is one of only a handful of people who could do this. We believe that Will Ferrell and Adam McKay will be able to deliver something that works perfectly for Comedy Central."
