Before I previewed tonight's episode, I wondered where the story was headed since we left off last season with the execution of Leon Cooley and his long running story arc with Grace (Holly Hunter) and her last chance angel Earl (Leon Rippy).
Well I'm not going to tell you anything to spoil tonight's episode, but I will tell you that we're going to start finding out why Grace started having dreams about the young drug addict, Neely (Yaani King), last season.
I will also tell you that this is one of the best episodes yet. It's fun, it's refreshing to have a new story line and the usual Grace craziness is in full swing. (I can't wait for you to see the scene between her and her partner Ham on the bridge!)
And don't forget, tonight is also the series premiere of HawthoRNe with Jada Pinkett Smith at 9pm eastern. In keeping with the TNT tradition of strong female figures, Smith plays Christina Hawthorne, a compassionate and headstrong Chief Nursing Officer heading up a group of dedicated nurses at Richmond Trinity Hospital.
In tonight's debut episode we pick up on the anniversary of her husband's death. It's a great idea to start here since it allows for some fantastic character building and introductions, making it feel less like a pilot and more like a full story.
So, tonight starting at 9pm, catch the series premiere of "HawthoRNe" and season premiere of "Saving Grace" on TNT. You won't wanna miss 'em.

I'm looking forward to Grace. I'd forgotten that Leon was executed at the end of last season, now am wondering where they will go with Earl and Grace. Is Gus OK this season?
