General Zod Cast for 'Smallville'

"Smallville" fans may be interested to know that young Superman will be facing supervillain General Zod.. 

Brit Callum Blue ("Dead Like Me") will be taking on the recurring role of the man of steel's arch nemesis in the upcoming 9th season. 

You may remember the evil character from feature film "Superman II" back in 1980, played by Terrence Stamp.
