Conan to be Leno's Final Guest

Jay Leno has booked Conan O'Brien, who will be taking over on the "Tonight Show", as his last guest.

Other guests for Leno's final week include Mel Gibson, Prince, and Billy Crystal, who was Jay's fist guest when he took over for Carson in '92.

The 17-year run will come to an end on May 29th and O'Brien will step in as the new host on June 1st.  Leno's new nightly prime-time show will begin next fall.

I hope someone comes to their senses over the summer and NBC decides against this new format. The last thing I'm likely to be watching at 10 PM every night is Jay Leno. What will they do with Southland and any other edgy dramas they might have shown?
