'Silverman' Will Return for Season 3

Yesterday we learned that "The Sarah Silverman Program" might be int trouble due to budget cuts.   Comedy Central wanted to cut the $1.1 million per episode down to $850,000 and the "Silverman" producers weren't having it.

Luckily, one of MTV Networks other channels stepped in to the rescue.  Logo, which caters to gay, lesbian and transgender viewers, will be helping out with the cost.

Details on just how much of the financial burden they'll be taking is still up for discussion, but we do know "Silverman" will be getting over $1.1 million per episode.

Although Logo has run other Comedy Central shows before, this will be the first time the two networks will be co-financing together.
