Producers Say No to Sarah Silverman Budget Cut

It's no secret times are tough and now "The Sarah Silverman Program" is really starting to feel it.  Comedy Central has asked the producers to cut down on the budget and they're not having it.

Sarah Silverman, Dan Sterling and Rob Schrab are the executive producers on the show and apparently they'll quit before taking the price cut.  The season 2 budget per episode was $1.1 million and the network wants it down to $850,000.

I love the show but frankly, I'm a little shocked to hear they're being so stubborn.  I get that the show takes a lot of dough with the animations, music videos and what not, but seriously...they can't make it work on $850,000...per episode?

They're expected to reach a resolution soon.
