- Hey U2 fans! You might be interested to know that they'll be playing for 5 nights straight on the "Late Show with David Letterman" from March 2nd through 6th. That would be the same week their new ablum "No Line on The Horizon" comes out. The last time they were even on Letterman was back in 2001.source
- ABC has decided the "Bachelor" finale just won't be enough and has ordered up a one hour special which will air the day after they hand out the last rose. According to creator Mike Fleiss, "It's going to be shocking...The end of the series is the best we've ever had." I can't decide if this is a good or a bad thing.... source
- It wouldn't be "American Idol" without a little drama. Favorite Joanna Pacitti has been pulled from the competition after it was determined that she was inelligible to go through. In case you don't remember, she's the one who had record deals before. Turns out she might have too many friends in high places, like the executive co-producer's of "Idol", and that may be why she got the boot. I'm sure we'll find out more later! source
- ABC picked up a new comedy pilot called "The Law" and starring Cedric the Entertainer. The show will center around reserve cops for the LAPD balancing their "full-time off-duty lives with the excitement of being weekend cops." source
- ABC also picked up "Canned" which is a comedy about a group of friends all fired on the same day, "Planet Lucy" about a woman prone to disaster who gave up work to stay home with the kids and an untitled show centered around families and how they come first. source
- FOX picked up a new one called "Cop House", a comedy set in a halfway house for trouble cops. Adam Resnick ("The Larry Sanders Show") is set to write the show. Fox is also considering "Walorsky", about an ex-cop turned mall security and "The Station", about a CIA operative instigating a coup in a Banana Republic. source
- CBS has nabbed two new dramas called "The Eastmans" and "Confessions of a Contractor." "Eastmans" will be a medical show about a family of doctors while "Confessions" centers on a successful L.A. contractor and is based on a book by Richard Murphy. source
