TBS Orders More 'Meet the Browns'

TBS has officially ordered 70 new episodes of "Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns" after an extremely successful 10-episode run. The show is a spin-off of the equally popular "Tyler Perry's House of Payne" and features characters that appeared in the play and movie of the same name.

"Browns" only just premiered in January and quickly became the #1 comedy in ad-supported cable, debuting to 4.2 million viewers and keeping a steady average of 3.2 million.

"Tyler Perry has once again created a series that resonates with an enormous audience, " said Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks. "'Meet the Browns' is a perfect match with 'House of Payne', giving TBS a great lineup on Wednesday nights for years to come."

You can catch "Meet the Browns" on Wednesday's at 10pm on TBS.
