Richter left "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" nine years ago and this will be the first time they've worked together sinc. But it's a little different this time as Andy will be taking over as "Tonight's" announcer and appearing in sketches as opposed to being Conan's sidekick.
"We have a proven chemistry that will be an incredible asset to 'The Tonight Show,' " O'Brien said. "I'm looking forward to working with Andy on a daily basis again, particularly since he owes me $300."
Andy was Conan's sidekick from 1993-2000 and he's since been working as an actor and a writer. I, for one, am glad he's rejoining Conan in late night land.

NBC, for gods sake bring andy richter back io the couch! He should be on the sceern, beside conan the full hour. There is a void when he is not there.
