'Amazing Race' Host Biking Across the U.S.

Phil Keoghan, host of "The Amazing Race" is about to set off on a journey across the U.S. on his bike.  He says he's doing so to promote and encourage healthier lifestyles and also spotlight the battle against multiple sclerosis.

Phil is going to leave from Los Angeles, CA on March 28 and traveling an average of 100 miles per day, he plans to end up in NYC on May 9th, the day before "The Amazing Race" season finale.

He hopes that people will join him as he passes through their towns so keep an eye for him!  He'll be rolling through more than 30 cities including Vegas; Denver; Lincoln, Neb; Des Moines, Iowa; Chicago, Fort Wayne, Ind; Columbus, Ohio; Pittsburgh; Washington; Baltimore; Philly and NYC.

"I feel like where we're at in the economy, the bicycle is a pretty good solution to helping people's waistlines, wallets and the environment," Keoghan said, "This is saying to people, look, it's time to make a choice in your life. We have way too much obesity and way too many people sitting back and not getting involved in life."
