- Ray Romano is returning to the small screen with his new show "Men of a Certain Age". TNT just picked up the series with a 10-episode order and plans to premiere it later in 2009. The show "explores the bonds of male friendship through the eyes of three college buddies" played by Romano, Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula. source
- Starz is stepping up their game in the original series department, having just announced 3 new shows and a "comedy block" which will start March 20th. The comedy lineup includes season 2 of "Head Case" and the premiere of "Party Down". No word yet on whether or not "Crash" will survive it's so-so season, however their latest drama idea, "Spartacus", sounds promising. Especially when they compare it visually to "300". source
- HBO just gave a sneak peek into it's spring lineup, including "Eastbound and Down" (produced by Will Ferrell) and the newest seasons of "In Treatment" and "Big Love". The "Treatment" schedule is changing from 30 minutes every weeknight to 2 episodes on Sundays and 3 on Mondays. "Big Love", which begins airing on Jan. 18th, is going to be taking a different direction according to producers. source
- One of my favorite shows, "Destination Truth", just got it's official pick up from Sci Fi! The third season is all set to premiere in the fall of 2009 with nine new episodes. And for the first time, they'll be doing some U.S. based investigations! source
- NBC has picked up a new one for development called "Barely Legal", a 30 minute comedy based on the true story of Kathleen Holtz, who in 2007 passed the California bar at age 18. Who will play her you wonder? Why Hilary Duff of course! source
