- CBS has officially confirmed the "NCIS" spin-off that's been in the rumor mill lately. In fact they've already begun casting. According to Nina Tassler, CBS president of entertainment, the spin-off will start as a regular episode of "NCIS" this season by introducing the new characters. source
- Ricardo Montalban passed away earlier this morning in Los Angeles of old age. He was well known for his role on "Fantasy Island" as Mr. Roarke and also appeared in films like "The Naked Gun" and "Spy Kids 2". source
- More spinoff news and this time it's "Gossip Girl"! The new show has been running the rumor mill lately and now it appears to be more official. So what will it be about? Well just as expected, Lilly van der Woodsen's wild teenage years of course. The network has ordered a sorta pilot called "Gossip" which will feature flashbacks of the 1980's Lily, while present day Lily and Serena deal with a complicated issue. source
- Wondering what will take the "ER" slot when the longtime drama says goodbye? Well wonder no more. NBC announced that John Wells' new police drama "Southland" will be filling in. Originally the new series "Kings" was to take over, but it will be mvoing to 8pm on Sundays instead. Also, NBC greenlighted 3 extra episodes of "ER" to close out the series and picked up 6 episodes of "Southland". source
- Heads up! Chevy Chase is about to make a 3 episode cameo on NBC's "Chuck"! Chase will be playing a billionaire technology mogul who Chuck's dad accues of stealing his idea. source
- CBS snagged another pick up with "Tick Tock", written by Bill Kunstler ("The War At Home") and centering around an unconventional single mom who decides it's time to focus on her love life. source

I was bummed for a second about the Kings note. I thought it was being delayed or trashed. I'm glad it's a move to Sunday instead. I can't wait to see Ian McShane again!
