- ABC has greenlighted a new project by the creators of "Life on Mars" called "Happy Town". Compared to the cult hit "Twin Peaks" (YAY!), the show is set in the hamlet of Happy Town and has been peaceful for the last 7 years after a series of kidnappings, but now it's being hit by another crime. source
- NBC appears to be desperately seeking out an "ER" replacement. Only a day after greenlighting "Mercy", an hourlong drama about the lives of three nurses, it nabbed another medical drama called "Trauma." This one is said to be a "high-octane emergency medical procedural that takes place out in the field." source
- A while back I mentioned that there was talk about doing an American re-do of "Absolutely Fabulous" and now it looks like the idea has officially come to life. FOX has picked up the US version, but don't worry...Jennifer Saunders (original Edina) is helping out with the pilot. source
- Remember Holly Flax (Amy Ryan) on "The Office"? If you watch, you deifnitely do and chances are you're like me and want her back. Good news! According to Greg Daniels (writer) she will return. It hasn't been written yet but chances are we'll see her for the season finale! source

I'm thrilled that Amy Ryan will be back. I've been a fan of hers since The Wire, Season 2.
I'm very curious and hopeful for Happy Town. Loved the first season of Twin Peaks. I hope they study it well and spot where it started to go astray.
