Some exciting news, Christina Ricci is set to join the cast for a 3-episode arc! She'll play Abby Charles, a young patrol cop who juggles being a single mom while earning her law degree and working towards a career in the FBI. However, first she has to get through a rotation with Grace which doesn't start out so well when their personalities clash.
In case you forgot, Ham (Kenneth Johnson) is still dealing with the death of his brother and after deciding to take a break from Grace (personally and professionally), he is paired up with Butch (Bailey Chase) who is partnerless since Bobby (Gregory Cruz) went undercover. However, it doesn't take long for Ham to realize it's not the same and wishes he could go back to Grace.
Meanwhile, Grace is left adrift facing her past sexual abuse and alone without Ham while Earl (Leon Rippy) continues to drop cryptic clues linking her to death-row inmate Leon Cooley (Bokeem Woodbine).
So what do you think is in store for us in the new episodes? Are you as excited to watch as I am?
Wow, do we're going to have Patty Hewes, Grace Hanadarko, Fiona, Brenda Lee not to mention Dr Brennan and others I can't remember... and now Christina Ricci is going to show up?! Great roles for women on TV these days.

Grace and (Riccis character) are going to be trouble, I predict. Especially with Ham being so depressed. Grace definitely needs to be the Alpha Woman on the squad, so if CR threatens that in any way, especially if there is any back and forth with CR+Ham, there will be fireworks.
