'10 Items or Less' Season 3 Premieres Tonight on TBS - Watch a Clip!

"10 Items or Less" season 3 premieres tonight on TBS at 11 with "Turkey Bowling".  There's a new general manager known as the "Velvet Hammer" (Kim Coles) at the SuperValueMart next door and she's determined to see Greens & Grains go down.  When Leslie the manager of G&G (John Lehr), Todd (Chris Payne Gilbert) and Carl (Bob Clendenin) invent the grocery store game "turkey bowling", she bets Leslie he can't throw 3,000 frames without leaving a single pin --soda bottle-- standing. Leslie takes the bet and gambling fever takes over the store. (press packet)

"10 Items or Less" is shot on location in a real, working grocery store in CA and it's almost completely improvised with the actors only working with a loose script.   The series was co-created by improv actor John Lehr and writer/director Nancy Hower. 

I'll admit, I've never watched this show before now, but I'm bummed I didn't.  I'll be sure to catch any repeats of season 1 & 2 when I can because after previewing tonight's episode, I'm hooked.  It's not your typical sitcom with cheesy one-liners and canned laughter (which I personally can't stand). Instead, it just reminds me of hanging out with that group of guys who always cracked me up by just being them.

Would I suggest you check it out?  Absolutely.  It's funny, the actor's deliveries are great and I'm personally a huge sucker for anything improv.  Check out a clip and see for yourself:
