In case you hadn't heard, Matthew Perry ("Friends" and "Studio 60") has a new series coming out on Showtime called "The End of Steve" where he'll be playing Steve, an arrogant local talk show host who's a sweetie on camera, but has some issues when it's off. The project has been in the works for a little while now and just got itself a cast of 5: Martha Plimpton (seen left) who will be playing the role of Perry's producer, Eddie Shin ("That 80's Show") who will play the boss, Kiele Sanchez ("Lost") will be the co-host, Nate Torrence ("Get Smart") as the assistant and Dreama Walker ("Gossip Girl") as the daughter of the manager of the apartment complex Steve lives in.
Peter Tolan ("Rescue Me", "Home Improvement") will co-create/executive produce along side Perry.
No word yet on when the show goes into production.
