- We certainly haven't seen the last of John McCain and he'll be making his first television appearance since the election this week on "Tonight" with Jay Leno. How curious that he chose Jay over Letterman and curiouser still that he chose comedy over news. McCain is set to appear on the show in honor of Veteran's Day. source
- NBC just announced that it is officially granting 'Life' a full season! Great news for me as I've recently become a huge fan of this show. I'm glad to see them giving it a chance despite it's slow down during the writer's strike last year and it's so-so ratings this year. (It's been placed 4th in the 9pm slot this past Wednesday). source
- "Sex and the City" did so well the first time ($153 million + DVD sales) that they've decided to make another one. The sequel will go into production next summer and contracts with the leading ladies are currently being negotiated. source
- A little older than weekend news but you should know, incase you missed it, that two of our favorite leading guys are making a return to the small screen soon. Dylan McDermott ("The Practice") is playing the lead for TNT's new hopeful "The Line". Also, James Van Der Beek ("Dawson's Creek") is joining the cast of "Eva Adams" on FOX.
