- The Simpsons found themselves in a little hot water when gay-rights group Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) were upset over a remark character Nelson Muntz said on Sunday night's show. Apparently he referred to the Grand Pumpkin (it was the Halloween parody of The Peanuts "Great Pumpkin") as "super gay". source
