'The Shield' Replacement is In? FX considers 'Staten Island'

Unfortunately one of my favorite shows on television, The Shield, is taking it's final bow on November 25th and it's left me wondering, what is FX going to do to replace the hit drama?

Well this just in, FX just announced it's developing a new police drama called Staten Island with writer/exec producer Lawrence O'Donnell (West Wing) and Mandalay Media.

The show will center around a "compromised police chief".

No word yet on any actors or when the project might start.  So far it's still in the development phase.  I'll be keeping my eyes out for it!
