'King of the Hill' Might Get a New Home Instead

I reported the other day that 13 season veteran "King of the HIll" would be taking it's leave after this season, however it appears we all spoke to soon.  ABC is interested in picking up the series to pair up with it's new animated show "The Goode Family" which is also by "King" creator Mike Judge.

Don't hold your breath though.  "The Goode Family" is due to come out in the spring but the earliest a new "King of the Hill" could finish production is next fall.

The animated series is doing very well on FOX with an average of 7.5 million viewers so I'd say it's a safe bet that ABC will follow through on the idea.
