ABC Cuts Three Shows In One Swoop

They've been toying with TV death in the last few weeks but ABC just made it official.  "Pushing Daisies", "Eli Stone" and "Dirty Sexy Money" are all on their way out. It's unfortunate that three genuinely quality shows have met their maker, but the ratings just weren't cutting it.

Don't worry though, it seems all 3 shows will finish up their ordered episodes and finish out most of their seasons.

So with 3 big cuts, that means it's time for some schedule shuffling. "Private Practice" will move to Thursdays at 10 starting December 11th.  "Life On Mars" (which just got a 4 episode pick up) will move to Wednesdays at 10 and Scrubs will begin it's new season on Tuesdays at 9.

Call me optimistic but I truly hope "Pushing Daisies" lives to see another day on another network.  I really think it would have worked well somewhere else...perhaps A&E?  What do you think?
